President and Chief Executive Officer
James Pritchett was appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Costar Technologies, Inc. (formerly Sielox, Inc.) on January 20, 2009. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Pritchett served as President of Costar Video Systems, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, since June 2006. From March 2001 until June 2006, Mr. Pritchett was the President of Video Solutions Technology Center, LLC and a director of Southern Imaging, Inc. He is a former executive officer of Ultrak, Inc., a publicly-trade company that manufactured and sold products for the security and surveillance and industrial video markets, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1988-1997 and as President and Chief Executive Officer from 1997 until March 1999.
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Scott Switzer was appointed in 2018 to the post of Chief Operating Officer of Costar Technologies, Inc. Mr. Switzer retains his responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the company, to which he was named in 2011. Serving with the company since 2001, Mr. Switzer was named controller in 2008, and previously held the same position for Costar Video Systems, LLC. Prior to joining the company, he served as a consultant with Accenture. Mr. Switzer holds a BBA from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
Chief Technical Officer
Mathiew Bais was hired as the Chief Technical Officer of Costar Technologies, Inc. on January 7, 2008. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Visual Defence, USA, a systems integration company in CCTV and airport security from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that he was President and CEO of Visonic Technologies, an RFID and Access Control company from 1999 to 2006 and was Vice-President of Sales of Loronix from 1998 to 1999. Mr. Bais is a former executive of Ultrak, Inc., a publicly traded company in the security and surveillance market, serving as Managing Director of Product Development from 1995 to 1997. Mathiew holds degrees in Physics, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering.
Chief Engineering Officer & General Manager, Arecont Vision Costar
Shane Compton joined Costar Technologies, Inc. as Chief Engineering Officer in September, 2018 and in January 2019 was named to the additional role of General Manager of Arecont Vision Costar, leading all aspects of the operations of the business unit. Prior to joining Costar, Mr. Compton rose through the leadership ranks of Pelco (later Pelco by Schneider Electric) in a career stretching over 16 years, including assignments in software engineering, project management, both engineering management and director roles, as Vice President of Engineering, and finally as CTO / Vice President of Advanced Technology & Engineering. He brings a history of leading organizations and teams to be fanatically customer service focused. Mr. Compton takes personal pride in working directly with customers and end users to develop world class products and services that exceed expectations.
Senior Vice President & General Manager, CohuHD Costar
Doug Means joined Costar Technologies, Inc. as the General Manager of CohuHD Costar in July, 2014, driving the optimization of the business through product line transitions, enhancing the sales strategy and market coverage, and delivering operational efficiency improvements. Mr. Means brings an extensive successful career in executive leadership roles, previously serving as Chief Executive Officer assignments for Elo Touch Solutions & earlier at Imagine Communications, as VP & GM of Harris Corporation's Broadcast Communications Division, as Corporate Vice President and GM of Motorola Mobility, and in VP of Sales assignments with Zenith Data Systems and Sears Business Centers. Immediately prior to joining the company, he served in an executive consulting role for Panasonic Avionics Corporation. Mr. Means earned a BA in Marketing from Missouri State University and an MBA, Management, from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Innotech Security
Devin Benjamin joined Costar Technologies, Inc. through the acquisition of Innotech Security Systems, a leading security and surveillance equipment manufacturing company. Mr. Benjamin cofounded Innotech with Moshe Luski in 2006, serving as CEO. Earlier from 2005 to 2006, he was President of Mace Security where Mr. Benjamin was instrumental in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies. His previous career included the founding of Securetek in 1997 where Mr. Benjamin also held the role of President and CEO until 2005.
Senior Vice President, Engineering, Innotech Security
Moshe Luski joined Costar Technologies, Inc. through its acquisition of Innotech Security Systems, Inc., a leading security and surveillance equipment manufacturing company. Mr. Luski cofounded Innotech with Devin Benjamin in 2006, serving as VP of Engineering. A true innovator in surveillance equipment design, Mr. Luski was responsible for Innotech's product design, development, and operations. From 2002 through 2006, he was COO of Mace Security Division, and earlier Mr. Luski was a cofounder of Microtech as VP of Engineering, with responsibility for all operations, technical support, product design, and engineering.
Sarah Ryder joined Costar Technologies, Inc. as Corporate Controller in September, 2015. Her operational and financial background includes serving as Risk and Advisory Services Manager at CBIZ, managing client relationships, overseeing staff performance, defining & delivering business solutions, and providing both Sarbanes-Oxley assistance and Internal Audit outsourcing solutions. She previously served as Senior Internal Auditor for Cricket Communications, and as Audit & Consulting Supervisor for McGladrey. Ms. Ryder is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS, Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
